Internet Coverage of I-35W Collapse

Posted by Thunder Pig on August 2, 2007

Noah Kunin of Blanked-Out lives very close to the bridge, and has uploaded photos to Flickr and has had to evacuate his apartment.

Ed Morrisey of Captain’s Quarters was also close by, and live-blogged the local coverage.

Dole Carpenter, or Volokh Conspiracy, drove over the bridge a mere 15 minutes before it collapsed.

A local Internet Site, MN Talk, seems to be the place people are posting their thoughts and experiences. It also has links to the local media coverage, should you wish to dig deeper. There are also multiple links to local blogger coverage as well.

One of the better places to follow the collapse is at Little Green Footballs, where there are lots of reports in the comments section as well.
I’ve posted them in order here:

The two major dailies are the Star-Tribune and the Pioneer Press.

My prayers are with the survivors, their families, and the families of the dead.
