Fighting Back Against Gay Marriage and The Homosexual Agenda

Posted by Thunder Pig on June 23, 2008

Peter Wolfgang, Director Public Policy on how Gay Marriage fits into the Homosexual Agenda.

The video that audio was taken from is worth watching, and many of the points raised in the Connecticut and Massachusetts discussion apply to the California case and nationally. The goal of getting same-sex marriages approved is the destruction of the traditional family unit, “In order to push same-sex marriage, you have to deny that children do best in a home with both a mother and a father”.

From the video description:

On this episode, Corinn talks with Peter Wolfgang, Director of Public Policy for the Family Institute of Connecticut, on this mission of the FIC and their current battle against same-sex marriage. Mentioned in the discussion is how the same-sex marriage agenda is fueling attacks on religious liberties in Boston, Minnesota, England, Canada, and Sweden.

Also included is how it is effecting what are children are being taught in school. “Children are not mere creatures of the state,” was the decision passed down in a famous 1920s Supreme Court case (Pierce vs. Society of Sisters), and yet Peter explains how in the Boston school system today, the Constitutional and parental rights are being subverted in the name of teaching our children sexual immorality. Such is always the case when “the State”deifies itself and vilifies Christ and His followers.

What brought this about was the news that an internet friend and family were threatened and had a window broken and had his property defaced with graffiti because of his stand on homosexual marriage.

Here was his last radio show (June 18th) on the subject:

And tonight at 9pm, he will appear on the Andrea Shea King Show. I plan on embedding that show here as well.

This fight we face on homosexual marriage is with the forces of evil, and with principalities and powers who oppose anything that is Christ-centered. Many of them seek to replace Christianity with a demonic faith called the New Age movement, and follow this link to see some of the ones in my neck of the woods.

These people should realize that they no longer have a free ride. We will push back, and we will not be silenced. If Doug is silenced, I will take his place. I am no where near as eloquent as he and his lovely wife…but I will answer the call, and get others to add their voices in opposition to this perversion of human sexuality.

More on the Homosexual Agenda from Coral Ridge Ministries:

In order to successfully oppose their agenda, we must know what it is before we begin to formulate our response.

Here Is One S.O.B. I’ll Be Voting For In November

Posted by Thunder Pig on May 27, 2008

I really hate the man’s views on a lot of issues. His position on the war is one of the few reasons I’ll have to vote for him, and begrudgingly give him some money. Here he is having his right to Free Speech taken from him by snot nosed kids who need to be horse-whipped:

I’ll have to pray extra hard for God to grant him wisdom, and for the same shield of spiritual protection I have prayed for President Bush to have about him.

Happy 60th Birthday Israel!

Posted by Thunder Pig on May 14, 2008

The modern state of Israel is 60 today, and this blog is 3!

Israel was established in the wasteland of the Levant, and has struggled ever since for her very existence against the hordes of Arab and Persian practitioners of the Religion of Peace (aka Islam), after having almost being wiped out by the forces of the Waffen-SS under the direction of Adolf Hitler.

Today, Israel still faces overwhelming numbers of those opposed to her existence, even her right to self-defense, ranging from children taught to hate Jews from birth, to most members of the evil United Nations, who would allow her to be wiped off the map if God had not placed our nation on this earth as her protector (also certain men)until the time appointed for her tribulation, may I never live to see that day, or if I do, may I have a weapon in my hand, doing what I can to defend her.

The Israeli national anthem: Hatikva

In have an idea for a birthday present for Israel.

Here is a map to give you an idea of the challenges Israel has faced, with just the Arab World included, not counting the Persians, or the Muslim world:
**update** 2.14pm
Another rocket has landed in Israel today, this time in a shopping mall in Askelon. Here is a video an Israeli friend sent me:

And you may read more about it here and here.

He Is Risen!

The Resurrection of Christ

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the very heart of Christianity. In 1 Corinthians 15 St. Paul reasoned, “If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. . . .We are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead.” In that same chapter he says “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen sleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.” But then Paul triumphantly declares, “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep” (1 Cor. 15:14-20).

Good Friday

Posted by Thunder Pig on March 21, 2008

On this day, we commemorate the Crucifixion of Christ.
On this day, Christ told a thief, “Today (Present tense) you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43).
On this day, Christ died that we might live.

Christians Raise $8.5 Million For Israel

Posted by Thunder Pig on October 21, 2007

SAN ANTONIO – The curtain rose to a hundred performers singing “Hinei Ma Tov” as the audience swayed back and forth and clapping their hands. They remained standing through “Hatikva,” declarations of support for Israel, and a duet of “Jerusalem of Gold.”

And when the evening closed – on a prayer for the State of Israel – 6,000 people, all but a few of them evangelical Christians, streamed out of the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas.

On Sunday night, Pastor John Hagee, head of the Cornerstone Church and a founding member of Christians United for Israel, hosted his 26th annual “Night to Honor Israel.” It was a massive multimedia extravaganza of music, skits, speeches and dance, broadcast live throughout the world and attended by Israeli representatives and community leaders from the Jewish Federation of Houston.

The event aimed to show solidarity between the evangelical community and the State of Israel, which Hagee calls the “apple of God’s eye.” It also reminded anyone listening that God’s politics are very, very specific.

“I am concerned about this upcoming so-called peace summit,” Hagee thundered from the pulpit, referring to the Middle East conference planned for next month in Annapolis, Maryland.

He’s a big, rotund man, and his voice echoed throughout the mega-church’s enormous sanctuary. “America must never pressure Israel to give up land. It must never pressure her to divide Jerusalem. Turning Jerusalem over to the Palestinians is tantamount to giving it to the Taliban,” he said.

Hagee has been throwing “Nights to Honor Israel” for a long time, ever since the upswing of anti-Zionism following Israel’s 1981 attack on Iraq’s Osirak nuclear reactor convinced him he had to speak out in defense of the Jewish state.

In the intervening years, he has become the most outspoken and influential of America’s evangelical Christian Zionists. His television and radio ministry reaches 99 million homes each week. He says he aims to “bring Jews and Christians together,” and refers sweepingly to the “Judeo-Christian faith.”

That quarter-century’s practice has given the night a quality of polished extravagance.

Everything was big and loud, from the red-carpeted church to the 100-member choir to the amount of money donated. John Hagee Ministries gave more than $8.5 million, most which came from private donations, to Israeli causes from the Israel National Autism Foundation to the city of Ariel’s Development Fund. Over $6m. went to aliya organizations such as Nefesh B’Nefesh and Exodus II.

“We love you because you are a man of God,” said Daniel Ayalon, Israel’s ambassador to the United States, as he accepted a check for a million dollars on behalf of Nefesh B’Nefesh.

“Within the last 50 years,” Ayalon said, “we have gathered in the Jews from the North, from the East, from the South. Now, with the help of our Christian allies, we are going to finish this job and bring the Jews from the West as well.”

As a born-again Christian, I know that God has a very special place in His heart for the Jewish people, and very special plans to match, and as the adopted children of God (Christians), it would behoove us to remember the original (and soon to return) chosen children of God, the Jews.

It completely baffles my mind that non-Christians cannot see it, the gathering of dark forces against Israel, inspired and energized by satanic forces…even swaying our own President to agree to the Abomination of a two-state solution that will be enforced by the Antichrist.

Dark Times are ahead.

Congressman Shuler Stands Up For God and the Flag

Posted by Thunder Pig on October 11, 2007

Shuler wants to reunite ‘God,’ flag

Barbara Barrett and Jane Stancill, Staff Writers

U.S. Rep. Heath Shuler wants to reconsider banning “God.”

The Waynesville Democrat has asked Speaker Nancy Pelosi to revisit a prohibition on the word God or other religious references from certificates that accompany flags flown over the U.S. Capitol.

As reported by The Hill, a Capitol Hill newspaper, a GOP congressman from Ohio became upset when God was removed from the requested writing submitted by one of his constituents.

The House Administration Committee responded this week by proposing a compromise that would let members of Congress submit writing that includes religious references. Pelosi’s office supports the idea. Shuler sent Pelosi a letter asking her to take a look at the policy.

“I believe that this restriction is an unnecessary restriction on our citizens’ right to openly and freely practice their religion,” he wrote.

He added later, “As a person of faith and an elected member of this Congress, I strongly disagree with the Architect’s prohibition of the word ‘God’ from flag certificates and ask that you examine the authority under which he is making this policy.”

Constituents can pay to have flags flown over the U.S. Capitol dome and then shipped to them with accompanying certificates. According to The Hill, the Architect of the Capitol formalized its policy on certificate language in 2003.

Kudos to Congressman Heath Shuler!!!

No matter how much I disagree with this man on many issues, I will always respect him for holding on to his faith, especially in an atmosphere that is hostile to Christianity.
