Second polio case in Swat

ISLAMABAD: A second young girl has tested positive for polio in Swat valley, where militants have warned against vaccinations, health officials said on Sunday.

They said security fears were preventing health workers from carrying out a new anti-polio campaign. A three-day polio vaccination campaign for children aged less than five years is scheduled to begin in the NWFP on Monday.

But the campaign will not be carried out in two areas of Swat Valley, Kabal and Matta, due to ‘uncertainty’ and deteriorating security in recent days, said Dr Abdul Waheed Khan, a senior provincial health official.

A local pro-Taliban cleric, Fazullah, has said that polio vaccinations are a Western conspiracy to make Muslim children infertile.

Feds Mum On "Missile" Fired At Airliner

27 May 2008 Shortly after takeoff yesterday morning, the pilot of Continental Flight 1544 reported seeing a rapidly moving object with a thick smoke trail closing in on his aircraft and shooting past his cockpit window. According to some of the crew and passengers aboard Flight 1544 traveling from Houston to Cleveland, it appeared like some kind of missile was headed toward the aircraft. The plane was at an altitude of 5,000 feet and 11 miles east of Bush International Aircraft when the pilot radioed the control tower to report the sighting. The object was described as “missile-like with a thick contraii,” and traveling at a high rate of speed.

Reason #503 Obama Will Not Be President: Palestinians Phonebanking for Obama

I kid you not. I wonder if any of these people have gone on to blow themselves up in the process of killing Jews.

It appears that some Palestinians in Gaza share American Thinker’s skepticism over Barack Obama’s devotion to the cause of Israel. Jim Geraghty of NRO’s The Campaign Spot draws our attention to this video news report broadcast on Al Jazeera television, showing Palestinians in Gaza running a phone bank to call American voters before primary elections and urge them to support Obama.

Hamas supports Obama, and Palestinians in Gaza (which is run by Hamas) are manning phone banks on his behalf. A number of Obama’s foreign policy advisors have troubling track records, and one of them, Robert Malley was talking with Hamas and resigned when this became known. I suppose it will be called “old politics” to even notice these facts. But Palestinians, and many American voters, can and do read the signs he is giving on his Middle East policies.

Dutch Court Clears Geert Wilders

A Dutch court has ruled that a highly-critical film about Islam is legal, and its maker is allowed to exercise his freedom of expression. The film is called “Fitna”, which can be translated from Arabic as “strife”. It compares Islam to fascism and the Prophet Mohammed to a barbarian.

Islamic groups in the Netherlands had asked the court to ban such comments, arguing they would incite hatred and violence. Muslims were outraged at Dutch MP Geert Wilders’ film. It also accuses the Koran of condoning violence, by intercutting verses from the book with images of terrorist attacks.

Arab Youths Cry "Allah Akbar" and Attack Jew in Brooklyn

The spread of Islamofascism continues, when will we notice?

A 25-year-old Israeli rabbinical assistant was assaulted by a group of Arab teenagers screaming “Allah akbar” in Brooklyn on Tuesday evening.

Uria Ohana, originally from Kfar Chabad, entered a subway station in the affluent Park Slope neighborhood in Brooklyn Tuesday evening, on his way to a lecture in Manhattan, when he noticed a group of Arab teenagers congregated on a bench in the station.

Ohana did not exchange words or make eye contact with the group, but proceeded upstairs to his train.

On his way, he felt someone grab his kippa from his head and then heard laughter. Ohana decided to chase the boys to retrieve his kippa.

The 18-year-old boy who grabbed the kippa left the subway station and ran into the street, where he was hit by a car, breaking his leg.

While Ohana chased the boy, the other teenagers began chasing him, screaming “Allah akbar.”

“They screamed at me, ‘Did you see what happened to him because of you?'” said Ohana, a Chabad-Lubavitch rabbinical assistant who works in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Two of the Arab boys then started kicking and punching Ohana in the face.

“As soon as they started screaming, I understood [the attack] was racial,” said Ohana.

The crime is being investigated as aggravated harassment and a possible bias crime, according to a New York Police Department spokeswoman. “I am almost sure it will be charged as a hate crime,” said the spokeswoman.

Once we reach a certain critical population mass, you can expect this type of crime to increase. Already, there are “no-go” areas in many urban centers in Europe, Britain, Detroit, and scattered cities in the USA.

Obama’s Pastor Reprints Hamas Manfesto in Church Bulletin

Reverend Wright reprinted a Hamas Manifesto in his church bulletin in July of 2007. He renamed it A Fresh View of the Palestinian Struggle. The piece was written by Mousa Abu Marzook, a known terrorist who created a Hamas Terror Cell Network in the United States.
