Yet Another Madison County & Boss Leake Scandal by Ann Ryder

Posted by Thunder Pig on April 4, 2008

Wow! Did you notice how quickly the Asheville Citizen Times (ACT) took down the news item on their website regarding the federal indictment of the folks slated to design and build the proposed new jail for Madison County? Mail fraud and conspiracy to make illegal contributions to the governor of Mississippi. You can get the story at…

Hillary Clinton: A History of Lies

Posted by Thunder Pig on April 2, 2008

The now-retired general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, who supervised Hillary when she worked on the Watergate investigation, says Hillary’s history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther – and goes much deeper – than anyone realizes.

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

How could a 27-year-old House staff member do all that? She couldn’t do it by herself, but Zeifman said she was one of several individuals – including Marshall, special counsel John Doar and senior associate special counsel (and future Clinton White House Counsel) Bernard Nussbaum – who engaged in a seemingly implausible scheme to deny Richard Nixon the right to counsel during the investigation.

Jan 9th, Feb 21st and March 14th:. What Do These Dates Have In Common?

Posted by Thunder Pig on March 21, 2008

January 9th was the day after the New Hampshire Primary, where Hillary Clinton and John McCain emerged as the winners.

February 21st was the day of the Texas Democrat deabte. [Transcript] [Video]

March 14th was the day the Wright Story was picked up by the Legacy Media, curiously replacing the Ferraro Furor.

Coincidence? Likely.

I notice that lefties are trying to place blame on their favorite enemy, George W. Bush. I say to them, “You had better focus your attentions on Hillary, because if you do not go after her with everything in your arsenal, she’ll have the nomination. And if Obama gets the nomination, you can count on her to work to undermine him with more vigor than McCain. After all, he has suspended an aide who made a youtube video attacking Obama. What would he do to one of his people digging through Obama’s passport info? Or to a Bush Admin effort to assist him? He’d run, not walk to a camera to denounce the effort.

You had better find a way to utterly destroy Hillary as a viable candidate, or make peace with her, for she will eat you alive. Never underestimate a Clinton. There are many who did, and have had their careers destroyed, lives destroyed, or have assumed room temperature. Just watch the Clinton Chronicles. And if the video gets taken down again, I have a copy of it I am willing to upload.

More Excerpts of Barack Obama’s pastor in the Pulpit

Posted by Thunder Pig on March 15, 2008

First, be warned that his Pastor uses profanity and blasphemous speech during his church services.

Where are the lefties now on their holy doctrine of “separation of church and state”? (Cricket, Cricket)

Here is a passage from Obama’s book, The Dreams of My Father, where he praises the racist ideology of his Spiritual Adviser:

“It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…That’s the world! On which hope sits!”

And so it went, a meditation on a fallen world. While the boys next to me doodled on their church bulletin, Reverend Wright spoke of Sharpsville and Hiroshima, the callousness of policy makers in the White House and in the State House. As the sermon unfolded, though, the stories of strife became more prosaic, the pain more immediate. The reverend spoke of the hardship that the congregation would face tomorrow…

DFU Sing-Along for Eliot Spitzer

Posted by Thunder Pig on March 11, 2008

Here are a few updates on the Spitzer Sex Scandal:

Perhaps New York Governor Eliot Spitzer believes he can weather the firestorm over his scandal about his involvement with a high-class prostituion ring. However, he is battling an element that will keep his scandal alive in the public more than the usual political scandal—humor. Spitzer’s breaking scandal is less than a day old and already the media and the blogosphere is filled with many jokes and parody songs about his situation. Even many liberals are laughing at Spitzer since the humor generated by a self-righteous politician involved in a sleazy scandal involving a prostitution ring is just too hard to ignore. David Letterman led off his show with several jokes on this subject:

Do you think it’s too soon to be hitting on Mrs. Eliot Spitzer?

Did you happen to see the press conference? Very dramatic. Eliot Spitzer was there. He had yellow crime scene tape draped around his pants – crazy.

The thinking now is that the governor may step down now to spend less time with his family.

I found a tin foil hat wearing poster at Crooks and Liars.

And here is a brief round up of some of the chatter:

NY Democrat Governor Eliot Spitzer ‘linked to prostitution ring’

Posted by Thunder Pig on March 10, 2008

Eliot Spitzer, the governor of New York, told senior members of his administration that he was involved in a prostitution ring, according to a report on the New York Times web site.

Citing an administration official, the newspaper said the first-term Democrat was meeting with aides before making an announcement later today.

Last week US prosecutors arrested four people in connection with an expensive prostitution ring. The governor’s aides would not say whether this was the operation with which he was allegedly involved.

But the New York Times cited an anonymous source who accused the governor of being one of four men identified as clients in court papers.

He is expected to make an announcement this afternoon in New York.

Mr Spitzer, 48, who came into office promising ethics reforms, is married with three children.

Since his election in November 2006, Mr Spitzer has emerged as one of the highest-profile figures on the national stage outside Washington.

The Right Perspective On The Monster Hillary Clinton

Posted by Thunder Pig on March 9, 2008

This video is a pretty good layout of the recent brouhaha over Samantha Powers, an Obama aide, calling Hillary Clinton a monster.

The Right Perspective, a radio show on Friday Nights at 10pm, is run by a couple of famous callers to New York radio over the years. I may have heard them (although I don’t remember), because while I was living in Terre Haute, I did listen to 770 WABC when the signal came in at night, and did listen to the Lynn Samuels Show. Even though Lynn is a lib, I listened to her because she was entertaining, and was quite disappointed when she was taken off the air.

Back to the Obama aid being cashiered for calling Hillary a monster.

This woman, and her husband, is evil personified. And the bad thing is, Obama is worse. He is a newer model of slicked up Socialism presented to the world as an empty container with the words, “Change”, “Hope”, and “A New Page” written on it. He is presented on the Legacy Media as a Rorschach Test given in a room with soothing music, flowers and kittens playing in it to bias you toward a favorable perspective.
For more on just who Obama is, and the circles he travels in, check out Rezko Watch, who have just recently noted the webscubbing associated with “altering and removing” items from the web that could prove harmful to Obama. Don’t these idiots know that a lot of us have been making mirrors of those websites, and taking snapshots of incriminating pages? One such website appears to be down at the moment. It has posted some damning information over the past few days (It started on the 5th), and I hope the owners of the site backed their information up. Anyway, here is the Google Cache of the website.
Anyhow, that should be enough for you to chew on for a little bit, and remember, there will be more about Rezko, Auchi, and Obama revealed tonight on The John Batchelor Show. I will have information posted between 6pm and 6.30pm tonight with links to the webstream of the 7pm show, and the continuation at 10pm Eastern “Daylight” Time.

Nesbitt Search Warrant and Ruminations

Posted by Thunder Pig on March 5, 2008

Conservative Activist Chad Nesbitt of the Carolina Stompers was present at a raid conducted by North Carolina ALE (Alcohol Law Enforcement) on property owned by his grandfather, Jim Rhew.

From the Feb 29th Mountain Xpress:

“We’d held a public meeting the day before at Erwin High School highlighting gang activity and a lot of cases that are getting voluntarily dismissed,” Nesbitt said, adding that they also criticized plea deals offered by the District Attorney’s Office. “About 65 people showed up to that. Then the next night the ALE and Sheriff’s deputies raid our place.”

Nesbitt said he’s given some of the evidence the group has uncovered to the U.S. Department of Justice.

He said that Sunday night poker games do go on at the location, but that they don’t involve cash. The warrant claims that over $3,500 in cash was confiscated on the site, along with poker chips.

“It’s just some guys playing cards, most of them are retired — big whoop. There was no money on the tables,” he told Xpress. Nesbitt maintains that the cash was just what the poker players had in their pockets — and wasn’t being used for gambling.

Now, the Search Warrant has been made available, and you can download it from this page, where it is noted that ALE says Buncombe Sheriff’s Deputies participated in the raid, but the Sheriff’s Department said there was no record of any of their deputies taking part. It may be nothing more than poor record-keeping on the Sheriff Dept’s part. I am interested in finding out the names of the law enforcement officers who took part in the raid.

This story is personal to me, because I have worked with Chad via the internet on conservative activist activities, and have met him on three occasions.

He is also hated by all the right people, far more than I am, and for that, I am jealous. I need to let my light shine a little more, I think!

Remember these cases:

Andrew Reed

Leonard Smith Protest [part one] [part two]

And remember that Chad had a hand in helping to expose them, and was very close to breaking open another case.

Certain people holding elective office, including some who wear a badge need to remember that the investigations will not stop if Chad is no longer able to conduct them. Others will take his place. Perhaps even more capable people.

I remember how long it took for other corrupt officials in North Carolina to have their day in court.

Here is a link to some statistics of arrests made by the ALE since 2000.

Obama and Chicago Mores

Posted by Thunder Pig on March 3, 2008

On Tuesday, Barack Obama may well wrap up the Democratic nomination. Yet how he rose so quickly in Chicago’s famously suspect politics — and who his associates were there — has received little scrutiny.

That may change today as the trial of Antoin “Tony” Rezko, Mr. Obama’s friend of two decades and his campaign fund-raiser, gets under way in federal court in Chicago. Mr. Rezko, a master fixer in Illinois politics, is charged with money laundering, attempted extortion, fraud and aiding bribery in an alleged multimillion dollar scheme shaking down companies seeking state contracts.

John McCain’s dealings with lobbyists have properly come under a microscope; why not Mr. Obama’s? Partly, says Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass, because the national media establishment has decided that Chicago’s grubby politics interferes with the story line of hope they’ve set out for Mr. Obama. Former Washington Post reporter Tom Edsall, who now teaches journalism at Columbia University, told Canada’s Globe & Mail that “reporters have sometimes allowed themselves to get too much caught up in [Obama] excitement.” Then there are Chicago Republicans, loath to encourage the national party to pounce because some of their own leaders are caught in the Rezko mess.

For its part, the Democratic Party may once again nominate a first-time candidate they haven’t fully vetted politically. Democrats flocked to Michael Dukakis in 1988, ignoring Al Gore’s warnings about Willie Horton; later they were blindsided by revelations about Bill Clinton after he was elected president.

This year, Hillary Clinton made a clumsy attack on Mr. Rezko as a “slum landlord” during one debate. But her campaign has otherwise steered clear — at least until last Friday, when Howard Wolfson, a top Clinton aide, suggested to reporters on a conference call that “the number of questions that we don’t know the answers to about the relationship between Mr. Rezko and Mr. Obama is staggering.” Mr. Obama’s campaign told me they have answered all questions about Mr. Rezko and have no plans to release any further records.

Also, things could be getting dicey for Obama, especially if he is called as a witness in the Tony Rezko case currently underway in Chicago.
